We are thrilled to be celebrating a big milestone with our friends at Industrial Resin Recycling Inc.! Having just invested $2.3 million to increase their recycling capabilities, they have now entered the post-consumer recycling market and we couldn't be happier for them.
With this investment, they have added two new processing lines at their Howell, Michigan, and Piedmont, Alabama plants, enabling them to now process more diverse materials, including woven automotive materials. That's 40% more capacity!
They also installed a brand new MAS twin-screw extruder at their Fowlerville, Michigan facility. This machine isn't just increasing their capacity by 80%; it's also reducing energy usage, making their operations more efficient and environmentally friendly. With this extruder being both faster and smarter, it can process materials that other machines can't handle, like paper, wood, or labels.
With new lab expansions for more testing and certifications like ISO 9001, GreenCircle, and A2LA certifications, they're committed to removing recyclable materials from Landfills.
